Floral Tunic

I am so in love with this tunic! It has already sold out in a few places, but is still available at Macy’s and Lord & Taylor. I’ve had my eye on this top for weeks and was hoping to share it much earlier, but had all kinds of problems with shipping and it was very delayed. But.. I think it’s actually for the better because it was originally $108, but is on sale at both stores linked above for $65! Always happy to share a deal whenever possible! 🙂

I went with white jeans since the top is so bright and colorful on its own. I actually think the top is even prettier in person than it looks in pictures. It runs pretty big, so I would suggest going down one. Hope you love it as much as I do!

If you’re interested, I’ve also linked my bootsbag and jeans. 🙂

Thanks so much for reading!

Olive Utility Jacket

Happy weekend! Hope you are all enjoying it!

I have to admit I hadn’t ever thought of Chadwick’s before when shopping for myself. My mom has ordered from them since I was little, so I always thought of it as having more of a “career” style. But..this jacket is amazing! It is so soft and it has drawstrings so you can change the fit around the waist to how you like it.  I love the olive, but it also comes in auburn. And the best part is that it’s on sale for under $40! I absolutely love it!

These skinny jeans are my favorites from Loft. I’m sure you already knew that, though, since it seems like I’m wearing them in every post ha! 😉 This black top is from Francesca’s a few years ago, but I linked a similar one here.

Thanks for reading! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Friday Favorites: Hair Products

I’m not a hair stylist, so I’m no professional on hair products. But, I do have some  favorites that I really love and wanted to share! I also don’t like spending a ton of money on products that I’m not sure I’ll like, so everything in this post is very affordable. 🙂 If you have any favorites, I’d love to hear about them too!

This Conair wet hair brush is so inexpensive, but seriously amazing. I’ve always used a comb in the shower, but this thing doesn’t pull at all on your hair and the hook is perfect for hanging it in the shower! It’s definitely one of my favorites and is more than worth the few dollars that it costs.

I think I’ve been using the Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray since high school! I either straighten or curl my hair every day, but every stylist I’ve gone to has told me you would never know and I’m sure this spray has something to do with it! Plus, it’s so easy to use and it smells great. 🙂

The John Freida Frizz Ease is perfect for those days when you can’t seem to tame the flyaways! 🙂 My mom got me these blonde hair ties and they are the only ones I have wanted ever since. I love that they blend right in with my hair! There are a ton of products for different hair colors! Find yours here: Blonde   Brunette   Black  FullSizeRender-3

I have heard of some people not being the biggest fans of Pantene, but I haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve also donated my hair a few times to their Beautiful Lengths campaign and have had good experiences. I really like this deep conditioner too! I don’t use it super frequently, only when I think my hair is feeling a little dry. I love how quick it is since you only have to leave it in for a few minutes and it definitely makes a noticeable difference! You can find it here!

These three are definitely my favorite styling tools and they are all super affordable! This pink curling wand  is a fraction of the price of many other wands and it still does an awesome job!

I’ve been using this straightener for years and still totally love it. I really like that Remington has a warranty on all of their products. Though I haven’t ever needed to use it because I haven’t had any issues. On both the wand and straightener, you can control the temperature to make it higher/lower. This wand also comes with a glove to help prevent burns. 🙂

The  wave creator (right) has been such a lifesaver! I got it years ago and it still works perfectly! It’s super easy because the spirals make it fool proof. This exact one isn’t currently available, but I linked a similar one here. If you’re looking for more control over the size of your curls, though, you may want to get a wand since you can’t change the spirals, of course! I usually just pull my high tighter/looser based on what kind of curls I want. But I definitely would recommend it because it has held up really well and the curls last!

Vera Bradley Flat Iron Cover

This cover from Vera Bradley has been such a life saver! It feels like we are always packing up to go somewhere and it is so great to have this cover to slide either a straightener or curling iron into. You can slip it right in even if it is still hot, making it perfect for travel! I use it all the time, though, even at home since it’s so convenient. And it’s currently on sale! So worth it!

I’d love to hear if you have used any of these or if you have any other favorites!

Spring Neutrals

Happy Easter! I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful weekend! Before all the festivities, I wanted to share this easy, neutral look that is perfect for spring! I’ve said it before, but I really love all the blush this season. 🙂

These white skinny jeans are my faves and I probably wear them too much, but I just love them! This pink top is from Loft, but isn’t currently available online, so I found a similar long sleeved one here and short sleeved here. I also linked some gray cardigans here and here.  My mom found these sandals  for only $10 at Kmart, but they are so cute! I couldn’t believe it when she told me, but I love them! Hope you love this outfit as much as I do! And I hope you all have a great holiday!

Spring Denim

I finally tried the Pink Drink from Starbucks and I totally loved it! Now I know what all the hype is about and I’ll definitely be getting it again. 🙂

This look was perfect for Panera and running a few errands this weekend! These are my favorite white jeans from Loft! I found this button down on clearance at Old Navy, but found a similar one here and here. My booties are another favorite of mine that I have shared multiple times now because I love them so much and they come in black too!

Hope everyone has a great week! Thanks for reading!

Easter Dresses

Happy April! I can’t believe how quickly this year is flying by and that Easter is almost here! I have always loved Easter because it means that warmer weather is on the way (and it’s a great excuse to get a new dress). 🙂

I always loved shopping for Easter dresses with my mom every year and I still love picking out something new for the holiday! I’ve put together a few of my favorite spring dresses that I think would be perfect for Easter. And the best part: they’re all under $55! Hope you find one you like!

Lulus Dress 2

I have shared this one before, but it’s definitely one of my favorites. I recently ordered it for myself and it is so pretty on!

This dress comes in 6 colors!

Comes in 3 colors!

I hope you find something you love to wear on Easter this year! It is such a special holiday and I hope you all enjoy it with your families.

The Best Ankle Boots!

FullSizeRender 2.jpg

I was pretty slow to jump on the ankle boot trend, but I am so happy I did! Last year, I saw a pair of Tom’s ankle boots on one of my favorite bloggers and had my eye on them for awhile. They were a bit expensive, though, and I was in grad school at the time (aka didn’t have much extra money ha!), so I held off. I found a very similar, but much more affordable pair at Old Navy, and ever since then, I have been hooked!  I’m so excited to break them all out now that Spring is here! They are perfect with jeans and dresses and can automatically make a casual outfit look much more put together. Here are a few of my faves:
